What is RADIESSE?

Radiesse is a facial filler for non-surgical face lift made of calcium hydroxyapatite. Calcium hydroxyapatite has been used in surgery for reconstructive purposes for decades. Radiesse is a water based facial filler with microspheres of calcium hydroxyapatite. Radiesse can last longer then hyaluronic acid facial fillers, but is not placed in certain areas of the face because of the risk of forming granulomas. It would be extremely rare to have an allergic reaction to Radiesse.

What is the recovery time? Everyone heals differently but there is minimal swelling with injection and bruising is uncommon. Most people can return to normal activities the same day or next day without any sign of swelling or bruising.
