Reconstructive Surgery

This patient had a very large defect of the cheek as a result of skin cancer removal by MOHS surgery. She subsequently underwent a cerviofacial advancement rotation flap with subsequent laser resurfacing to achieve a good cosmetic result without any malposition of the lower eyelid.

The patient subsequently underwent bilateral advancement flaps recruiting tissue from the remaining lower lip and cheeks in order to reconstruct the area. The patient has no functional deficit and is able to eat and speak normally.
