Injectables and Fillters

What is a cosmetic filler?

A filler is a substance that is injected into certain areas of the face to improve one’s appearance. Fillers are often used to plump up lips, add volume to cheeks, remove facial wrinkles, fill depressed scars, hide nasolabial folds (smile lines), perform non-surgical rhinoplasty, or camouflage “bags” under the eyes. There are many types of facial fillers. We only use fillers that are FDA approved. Facial fillers are made of different substances, each of which lasts a variable amount of time. We offer all of the latest fillers that are on the market (Sculptra, Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, and Artefill). Very often we combine these fillers with Botox or Dysport, or state of the art laser therapy to enhance results.

What is the recovery time?

Everyone heals differently but there is minimal swelling with injection and bruising is uncommon. Most people can return to normal activities the same day or next day without any sign of swelling or bruising.
